When the la--st e--agle fli--es

over the la--st  crumb-ling mountain

 and the last li--on roars

at the la--st   dusty fount-ains



In the shadow o-f the forest

though she may    be old and   worn

they would stare    un-believ-ing 

at the la-st unico--rn 



When the first breath  of   winter 

through the flow--ers is icing 

and you lo--ok to the north 

and the pa--le moon is rising

And it see--ms like all is dying 

and would lea--ve the world to mourn 

in the distance hear the laughter
